Kamp Kayaking – Narrabeen Lake (short paddle)
Join Gay4Play for our monthly adventures exploring the waterways and hidden river systems that are in abundance in this beautiful city we call home. We have long and short paddles, limited single kayaks as well as doubles with the same fun and games we always have.
Next stop on the calendar is Narrabeen Lake.
We will be meeting at Middle Creek Reserve on Narrabeen Lake, that is approximately 2.9 km along Wakehurst Parkway after the Pittwater Rd turn off. Parking is a little steep here. $6/hour or $26 for the day so the more we can car pool the better it will be for everyone.
MESSAGE US DIRECTLY IF YOU NEED TRANSPORT AND WE WILL HELP GET YOU THERE.
The plan is to paddle around the northern side of the lake before heading up Deep Creek.
After the introduction and safety briefing, we will start this lovely paddle along the creek offering a superb glimpse of what all of Sydney once would have looked like.
If the markets are on we will be having a coffee break at the Deckhouse on Clarkes Point Reserve, before heading back.
After getting back we will fire up the BBQ and have a casual lunch with post paddle beers. Each month we like to change it up between burgers, schitzels, suasage sizzles and the like. Any other dietary requirements can be taken care of. Just note it when you book your ticket.
